Jesus is the Way , the Truth and the Life. We cant even approach God without Jesus. No sacrifice of ours can bring us close to God, not any . Would He have let His beloved Jesus to suffer the cross if there was another way if we could work it out on our own by being holy , righteous within ourselves. Again I say as on the past Self righteousness is a delusion. Jesus is our righteousness. Jesus Himself said let not my will but your will be done. And God exalted Jesus giving Him the name of above all names making Him God giving Him all power and authority in all places. There is only one mediator between God and men and He is Jesus. Never think for one moment that outside of Christ that we can make ourselves worthy enough to approach God , that would be a fatal and eternal mistake. Jesus is the only way to be reconciled to God .
