Any true artist would rather paint a brand new picture than remove marks or try to match colors, putting somebody else’s work right. God is not interested in making the best of a bad job. He starts all over again and makes something new. He does not mask the cracks in a ceramic vase. He makes a new one on the potter’s wheel. Jesus turns people into new creatures.
