Jesus of 2,000 years ago was not “The Messiah” Jesus of 2,000 years ago, my dear and beloved brothers and sisters, was not “The Messiah.” He was 2,000 years too soon to establish The Kingdom of God and end the civilization of the Jews. This is why members of the Jewish community hate Jesus; and have written terrible things of him! The Honorable Elijah Muhammad said when he was teaching The History of Jesus, that some of the things that the Jewish people 2,000 years ago said of Jesus were so horrific, so vile, that he could not even bring himself to write a word of what they were saying! Talmud: “Jesus is in hell, boiling in excrement” Well, let me say in The Present Tense: Their language is so vile. Did you know that in the very Talmud written by Jewish rabbis and scholars, that their hatred of Jesus is such that they said: “Jesus is in hell, boiling in excrement”? Now, you wouldn’t think that “a people of righteousness” would say that about a Righteous Prophet and Servant of God! “The History of Jesus” According to The Teachings of Master Fard Muhammad to the Honorable Elijah Muhammad, about “The History of Jesus”: Jesus taught in the tiny state of Palestine—where there is, today, so much trouble and confusion! On the streets of Jerusalem he preached; and on the day that he was captured, he had his largest crowd, about “35” or “36” people. Jesus was in front of a Jewish store, and when the proprietor, or owner of the store, saw the crowd, he wanted to move the crowd away from his store; but when he saw that crowd, he thought that they might come in and purchase something from him, so he let Jesus go on and speak. However, after he heard what Jesus was saying, he called the authorities, because there was a bounty on the head of Jesus: $1,500 if he were caught and brought in alive; $2,500, in gold, if they brought him in dead. The Jewish people of that day did not like what he was saying, so they collaborated with Roman authorities to put an end to The Life of a Holy Prophet and Servant of God. Jesus didn’t die there, on a literal “cross.” The Honorable Elijah Muhammad taught us that he died in the form of “a cross.” We’ll get into that more at another time. But, suffice it to say: Jesus gave his life for The Truth that he taught, that his name would live for 2,000 years until The Coming of The Messiah Who would come in his name, and reprove the world of sin and of judgment because it believed not in him! Beloved Christians: You know, Jesus said if you “follow him,” you will be persecuted. You will be hated for his name’s sake; some of you, he said, will be beaten, and some will be killed—and they will kill the righteous, thinking that they’re “doing God a favor.” Some would be cast into prison: Are you suffering this for Jesus’ name? We are… Pontius Pilate Right now, they are tired of my preaching; and I’m sure they have contacted the “Roman authorities” whom they control in the United States government; and are saying to them: “You have to do something about Farrakhan.” Is there a bounty on my head? He sits in the heavens, and laughs at you… Because what you “plan” for me, and this tiny little Nation of Islam: Please be careful, for you are planning your own death while you think you’re planning mine. Just remember Pontius Pilate (the judge at the trial of Jesus, and the man who authorized the crucifixion of Jesus): He knew that Jesus was innocent! And I am sure the president of the United States, Barack Obama, knows that “Farrakhan” is not an “anti-Semite,” nor is he a “hater”—he just “tells The Truth”! But you are pressing President Obama, now, to do an evil thing that will not be good for him, will not be good for you, and will not be good for America. But you must do what you must do. And by The Grace of Allah, I will continue to do what He has commanded me to do, and that is to “pull the cover off of Satan”; as it is written in the Book of Isaiah, Chapter 28, “the cover too short, and the bed too narrow.” There is no more “hiding place” for Satan! God will “consume him with The Spirit of His Mouth,” and now He is Present and it is His Words in my mouth! It is His Spirit that is moving me! So do what you will, because I certainly am going to do what God has commanded me to do! As I said in a prior broadcast: “O messenger! Deliver the message. And if you do it not thou has not delivered the message. But if you do it, surely I will protect you from men” (Surah 5, verse 67).
