Jesus reminds us to drink from this cup it is my blood in remembrance of me. A good picture of His suffering is portrayed by Isaiah, He was considered undesirable, he was despised and rejected, he was a man of sorrows and grief, he was not esteemed, and he was stricken, smitten and afflicted. Jesus was wounded, bruised, chastised, and eventually slaughtered as a lamb. Through all the physical and emotional abuse that Jesus suffered, he did not open his mouth in self-defense even though he could have called legions of heavenly angels to his defense! God forbid if some had control over angels, the way He did. Some of us would want them to kill others! Some do this anyway with their mouth, notice He opened not His mouth. (James 3:8) But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, (full of deadly poison). So before we speak maybe we should think! Better yet pray, I want to be like you Jesus! Do this in remembrance of me
