Jesus replied,You must love The Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. Matthew 22:37 Love. We all want to be loved and accepted for who we are. We dont want to have to perform to be loved. We dont want to strive for love. We dont want to earn it. We dont want to be good enough, smart enough or pretty enough for someone to love us. We just want love no matter how unlovely we are. Our Heavenly Father also desires love. He also wants to be loved for who He is and not just what He can do. When someone constantly desires something from us, we grow weary. Sometimes we want others to just love us, not wanting anything from us. This also is our Fathers heart. How much of our time or prayers with Him are asking for Him to do something? He delights in our asking, but I also believe He is enthralled when we come to Him and love, just because. I believe if we spend more time just loving our Father and worshiping Him, all the requests and concerns will either fade away or be taken care of in the midst of that perfect love between Father and child. My prayer for you today is that you spend time loving your Daddy today! Dance with Him. Sing to Him. Crawl up in His lap and just be with Him. Laugh or cry with Him. Eat with Him. Drink with Him. Enjoy a walk with Him. Love Him. He is worthy. He is faithful!
