Jesus said His House would be a house of prayer for all nations - TopicsExpress

Jesus said His House would be a house of prayer for all nations and that His Church would advance even in the midst of the gates of hell. In the words of a Christian leader, there are comfy and conflict zones in the world for the church. In comfy zones the church is not focused and does not work together, and in the conflict zones the church is unified because all they have is each other. Is God more interested in American prosperity and international dominance or the maturity of His Bride? Can both go hand in hand.... maybe...?.... but human nature usually does not move without a sense of urgency. If the western church is only an institution for the experiential bliss of its participants or the collective group of similar (non-essential) doctrinal belief then we will continue to find that faith will decline. There is no urgency in this type of culture and thus Gods people find themselves pursuing temporal pleasures. When there is no eternal focus in the ones who seem to be cutting edge and radical we find this because comparison is only happening within the condemned comfy culture, thus they seem radical. The only measuring system in the Kingdom is viewing our lives in the light of Jesus, in this comparison we will find Grace and mercy and that our lives our but meaningless vapors unless God moves through us. When we find ourselves in the this comfy culture God will take the time to mature His people, through whatever means possible. The Good Father, God, will take the time to discipline His children, in love and patience. The pain is great but this produces Gods righteousness (Hebrews 12), a harvest for His glory. We will not escape His discipline even if we surround ourselves with teachers who will tell us what we want to hear. As the Church comes back to place of power, we will be on our knees and intentional about advancing the Kingdom in all the earth. Do not be deceived dear ones God can not be mocked, a man will reap what he sows. God desires that we sow the seeds of the Kingdom for eternal growth and Kingdom prosperity. Dont be fooled by a comfortable bed at night and steady paycheck. Look to God each day to be empowered from on High with supernatural Love, insight and urgency. Praying for you, Pastor Nick Koopalethes
