Jesus said YOU MUST BE BORN OF THE WATER AND THE SPIRIT TO ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. He also said that when you are born of the Spirit you will HEAR a sound like the wind...you can hear it but you can not see it. John 3:3-8 Jesus also said Matthew 24: 46 and said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 And ye are witnesses of these things. 49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high. In Matthew 28:18-20 it says: 18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you that remission of sins will begin in Jerusalem and to wait there for the comforter which is the Holy Ghost. In Mark, Jesus says: Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; THEY SHALL SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES; ....(a SOUND) In Isaiah 28 it says: vs. 11 for with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. 12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: In Exodus it says the the Sabbath is the rest: Exodus 16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the Lord hath said, To morrow is the rest of the holy Sabbath unto the Lord: ...Jesus said he is the Lord of the Sabbath (the rest) Luke 6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man (Jesus) is Lord also of the Sabbath. All the disciples and Mary (120 in total) waited for the promise of Jesus/the father in Jerusalem as commanded in an upper room and in Acts 2 the Holy Ghost (promise) was poured out on all of them and they spake in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance. Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ was preached for the first time in Chapter 2 of Acts to. Evidence of being born of the water &/or the Spirit happened also in Chapter 8, 10 & 19. This is the only book that actually shows proof of the commandment of Jesus in action. All the other books after Acts were epistles wrote to those who had this experience for further guidance, knowledge & wisdom...to the new churches and the new converts. NONE of these epistles conflict with the message that JESUS spoke to Nicodemus regarding being born of the water and the Spirit! YOU MUST keep feeding your spiritual man with spiritual food through prayer, preaching and studying all the truth of Gods word (not some of it) to stay spiritually alive and to grow strong once you are born of the water & the Spirit. This includes being in places where you are safe in the Lord because they are good environments and doing as the Bible says...the manuel of eternal life or you will lose your opportunity to get into the kingdom of God!
