Jesus was born in a manger. Would Mary and Joseph have stayed there if it was in the month of December? Theyd be freezing to death! In the book of Ezra describes the 9th month in the Jewish calendar called Chislev to be heavy rain and impossible to stay outside because its cold. (Ezra 10:9-13). Chislev corresponds to November-December. How much freezing would it be if it was December 25 which already falls on the 10th month of the Jewish calendar called Tebeth which is within mid-December and mid-January! Thats freezing cold. Not possible for the baby Jesus to be placed in a manger after birth.
