Jesus wasnt sinless---He stole a donkey. Matthew 21: 2,3 Skeptics try to find sin in Jesus Christ, but they cannot. he was morally perfect. This objection is about the best anyone can do, along with the claim that He disobeyed His parents, or He lost His temper when He cleared the temple. ( See Mark 11:15 and Luke 2:46). In Matt 21: 1-6, Jesus instructed His disciples to go and get the colt and its mother, and told them what to say if someone asked what they were doing. Jesus said the owner would give permission; immediately he will send them (v.3). It happened as Jesus told them it would, and the donkeys were released as He said they would be. Mark 11:6 says even more clearly that the disciples were permitted to take the donkeys by those who stood there. So they let them go it isnt stealing if the owner gives permission. Matthew notes that this was a fulfillment of a prophecy given over 500 centuries earlier (Zech 9:9), that the Messiah would enter Jerusalem riding on a donkeys colt.
