Jethro Tull Benefit 2013 remix & remaster sounds much much better than previous versions similar to the Clash restorations. Its funny what comments I read regarding classic records being remastered misunderstanding what it is thinking its sound kind of smooth/wimp out, simply put a decent remaster will make the music sound clearer & less muffled. What has to be bared in mind that despite being on vinyl (the supposed superior format) a lot of records in the 60s & 70s were mixed for cheap equipment (vocals upfront , instruments recessed ) , so sometimes Vinyl is not the way. When CD is done properly it is very enjoyable but of course when vinyl is done right..BLOODY HELL GET OUT OF WAY!!!!
