Jethro is a 2 year old English Coonhound. He is a fun and playful guy who is seeking his fur-ever home! Jethro is a family friendly guy and would love to have children to call his very own! All to often hounds like Jethro are found running loose, getting hit on the roads here in SC and are only considered TOOLS by the state of South Carolina. His soulful eyes tells me that he is way more than a tool… Jethro is active and would love an active family to spend his life with! This time of year our rescue has many hounds as they are thrown out like garbage during hunting seasons. The other day during a 3 hour transport I counted 32 hounds and beagles smashed on the highways and roads… Help support the rescuing of a life that SC has deemed just a tool. Jethro walks great on a leash, crate trained and he is ready for his fur-ever home! All animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, de-wormed, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, receive dentals and blood work if needed and receive full physical examinations from a board certified veterinarian. All 4 Paws is 501 (c) 3 non-profit animal rescue based out of Pawleys Island, SC. Our adoption center in is located at 708 Petigru Dr Pawleys Island SC 29585 and is open Tuesday - Saturday from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Appointments are available during these times.
