Jetstar cracks down on carry-on luggage cheats Published: 3:04PM Tuesday October 28, 2014 Source: ONE News Cut-price airline Jetstar is cracking down on passengers trying to sneak extra hand-luggage onto the aircraft. Passengers will only be allowed seven kilograms of carry-on luggage, reports News.au. The limit, which is usually ten kilograms, applies to all domestic and international flights booked from today. It follows reports of passenger complaints over the lack of overhead locker space because others have broken the rules. And to make sure travellers are obeying the rules, airports in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns and Gold Coast will now have staff monitoring carry-on luggage limits.
