Jettribe spoke with Trey and Cameron Frame about their experience at World Finals. Here is what they had to say: In October, Lake Havasu City Arizona is the mecca of PWC racing. Our team has been making the 32 hour trek west for many years and this year would prove to be the best yet. Several months prior to the event the team played around with the idea of bringing out one of the 2-Stroke GPR’s that we had in storage since 2009. Cameron planned on running in the Runabout Classic Open class. It would be the first time ever competing in this nostalgic class in Havasu and we looked forward to the competition. We knew we were bringing a beast of a ski and with the help of tuner Tim Judge we had this ski dialed in. The competition was there and after finishing 2nd in Moto1, Cameron needed a 1st in the final Moto to take the overall win. An exciting come from behind win of Moto2 would seal the deal and give Cameron his first World Title. “Havasu has always been special for me and my team, but this World Title is something I’ll never forget”, Cameron said. The win would boost the excitement in the Black Star Motorsports / National Guard pit and set the stage for brother Trey Frame competing in the Pro Runabout GP class. This class is widely regarded as the fastest class in the world and the competition is always tough. After rough start in Moto1, Trey worked his way up to 9th place. With nothing to lose in Moto2 he rode smooth and earned a 3rd place finish giving him a 6th place ranking at this year’s World Finals. “The red flag restart hurt my chances in Moto1, but overall I’m happy. We know our setup is fast and reliable and in this GP class you have to have the whole package to do well”, Trey said. The 2014 season has been incredible for the team and having a good year representing our long time sponsor Jettribe was awesome. It was so amazing to walk around the World Finals and see the Jettribe signage and banners. Jettribe always does a professional job of promoting their riders. As the sport continues to grow, we are already looking forward to the 2015 season!
