Jewish New Year: When I was a little boy my mom always told me whatever you do at the beginning of the year is what youll do the rest of the year. She was, at that time, referring to my behavior. If I cried at the beginning of the year, for instance, I would cry all year long. So, here we are at the beginning of the Jewish New Year and the first two things that it happen to me are, one, Ive been invited to emcee the lighting of the Christmas tree with probably 1000 people in attendance. Sounds like fun. I want to do that!!! Now, Im on my way to a Catholic church where a crucifix has been stolen! Hmmmm??? Should be an interesting year...
