Jill says: I would like to hear from anyone who has had dealings with CPS in Arizona, especially in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. I, too, (as well as my children) were the victims of false allegations which were “substantiated” by corrupt CPS workers. All five of my children were taken by CPS. I had never had a case with them before, and had no criminal history whatsoever. Two of my children were sent to live with my ex 2000 miles away, and two remained in state with a friend of friend (who was later found to have a pedophile husband living there, even though CPS approved her and her home study.) My 2 year old was taken from me for about 6 weeks. While in CPS custody, he almost died due to NEGLECT. I got a phone call saying not to come to visit him that day, since he was in the intensive care unit at the hospital! He was sick at my last visit, so I asked for him to see the doctor, since he was prone to ear infections. Four days later, he was in the intensive care unit due to an untreated ear infection which traveled to his spine. They didn’t know if he would live (but, thank God he did, in spite of them!) All on CPS’s watch. And, they falsely accused ME of neglect! CPS workers routinely lied, fabricated “facts”, made up stories, and twisted everything into something that would further their fake case against me. They even made up things that my older children allegedly said, which made no sense, and my children denied ever saying. You definitely ARE guilty in their book, even if you are innocent. During this time, I was so destroyed, physically and emotionally, that I became ill with a medical condition, and am still not well 13 years later. I am absolutely sure that this was due to the unbelievable stress which was placed upon me with all the lies and tearing up my home, and my baby almost dying. I could not afford a private attorney since I was a divorced, single mom. I had to go with the public defender who did not care one iota about me. He just treated me as a criminal and sided with CPS and collected his money. This is an evil, corrupt government agency which needs to abolished and replaced with an agency for REAL abuse cases, not fabricated ones just to get federal dollars to run their agency and pay people off who do their dirty work. Innocent people are being destroyed. Families are being destroyed. I don’t know how these evil people sleep at night.
