Jillian Balow just cant make her mind up, can she??? So now that Cabellos and the Casper Star have called her on it, are they negative bashers too??? Since myself and others are considered Negative Bashers for stating FACT! Its only negative to those engaging in deceiving the public to win an election... Common Core can not be tailored, apparently Jillian forgot to read the fine print! Adding more bureaucracy after Common Core is already introduced is senseless. The deck will be stacked, as it has been in any state that ever attempted it, Common Core remains while the origin changes. Dont believe me? research what happened in Indiana and how that worked for them. Jillian just wants to disguise where the standards come from so they are still in line with the waiver/grant fund requirements; thats what its really about. It has nothing to do with customizing the standards, its always and only about the money. Whats even more disturbing are the so called activists (Yes you know who you are) that are in on this scheme, that have had a seat at the table with these flip flopping Politicians for so long, even they dont have a clear vision and direction any more. Listen to her Jillians own contradicting words yourself ----> youtu.be/_Pp21z1zxyM Casper Star Tribune Article: Ceballos says Balow waffling on Common Core in superintendent race Excerpt: In her Aug. 11 comments, Balow said she was opposed to the standards from the beginning, but on July 27, she said that she is not in favor of repealing the standards and that several educators in the state were experiencing early success with the standards. At Thursday’s debate, Balow detailed the nature of the system in its current state. “Common Core is a complex issue,” she said. “I support high standards as a teacher. However, Common Core is not right. We owned Common Core in the state of Wyoming before we built agreement around it. Indeed, I do not agree that repealing it is right, but we need to go through a community process to develop Wyoming’s standards.” Balow told the Star-Tribune in August that the Common Core standards need revision to provide the flexibility local schools officials need to tailor education standards to their needs.
