Jim Condrons new show, Your Memories, Your Sentiments, Your Wishes, Your Secrets will be opening at the Adah Rose Gallery on the 15th of January (and run until February 28); the opening reception is on the 17th, 6:30-8:30PM Many of the works in the exhibition were made while Jim was on residency at the Edward F. Albee Foundation in Montauk, NY. These thickly painted abstractions incorporate found objects, wood, scrap metal, concrete, plaster, plastic, and animal fur. While some converse with Sienese and early Renaissance paintings by Giotto, Sassetta, and Fra Angelico, others confront more contemporary works.
