Jim Creek/Knik Glacier ride Monday July 21, 2014 Trip Report Jim Creek was an easy crossing today. The flats are flooded. Entered the woods just past the dunes. Woods were doable. Riders in front of us ran into trouble, but there was a bypass to the left and we took it and got through that bad spot ok. Made it passed the Meadows, Stayed on the highest woods trails. Lost the trail and ended up in a mud swamp. Got out, but my RZR was really wet up to the steering wheel. I think we could have made it if we had stayed left and high but lost any signs of markers and there were so many trails going off and on. Sunny and warm all day, it was a good ride. Most people said the water was down Monday from the weekend.
