Jim Flaherty A very very sad day for Canada, no matter what our ideology. This was a very personable humanitarian, with his wife - an incredible strength behind any fight FOR the disabled, a reportedly wonderful father and a person with integrity, and not only highly intelligent but also a man with a delightful sense of humor. He does not deserve this early death and Canada does not deserve this enormous loss. His legacy will be the international respect he earned for Canada in managing a nations finances and the wisdom he brought to managing economics in a global scale.
