Jim Murphys inspired choice as Scottish Labours new Director of Communications (note that title well), Susan Dalgety, is another Unionist embroiled in the sampling of postal ballots before September 18th and she gleefully indicated that she was privy to the confidential information in a webcast 30 minutes after polling concluded. However when the Sunday Herald tried to contact her on the subject, Dalgety failed to respond to calls and emails. Ah, right, good job description. A Director of Communications who refuses to communicate if the questions risk becoming complicated. This is Scottish Labour in a nutshell.
