Jim and I decided to take a day for ourselves today... So we drove up to Beckley. After visiting a good friend at the hospital, we decided to catch a movie at the Cinemas. We arrived as the previews of other movies were showing. Needless to say, it was EXTREMELY dark in there. Being the Gentleman that he is, Jim allowed me to go FIRST. I rounded the corner and placed a death grip on the handrail as I tap and feel each step. After I get to step number six, I am thinking, Oh NO! I am going to end up sitting on someones lap. So I turn around to see if Jim is behind me. NOT. Ok where did he go? It was at that moment that the screen seemed to put enough light in the theatre.... There he is at the bottom of the stairs... He is crouched over feeling the seats. (Jim said he was calling my name, Janie. Janie.) I darted to a VACANT seat before I started cracking up. The lady in the second seat is leaning forward and saying, Sir, Sir. Its over there. Sir, go that way.) He makes his way to the rail and practically crawls up the steps. He tries to sit in the seat in front of me. So I took his hand and led him up beside of me. I am cracking up on and off throughout the whole movie. Jim gave me the silent treatment for a long time. I told him not to worry about it that I couldnt see either. We are home now and I still laugh about it. Jim just looks at me. I told him not to worry about it. We were in Beckley and no one knew us over there. So NOW he laughs... And NOW... I POST ON FACEBOOK! LOL!
