Jim and i spent a couple of hours at the vet today with Score. He started to limp last night and we soaked his paw in epson salts but it did not seem to get better so this afternoon we took him to the vet. Just about the time they were going to perform minor surgery to open the lump between his pads, the lump opened on its own thus saving him going under anesthesia. Thank you God. He answers prayers. Now Score is doing well but totally wondering how he got a hot pink bandage wrap on his whole leg when it was the bottom of his paw that was injured. He is saying Why Pink???? No idea what caused the injury but he will be on antibiotics for five days while it heals up. He is enjoying lots of extra attention and is getting carried up and down the stairs. It hasnt affected his ability to catch a nap anywhere, anytime, especially when he can lay on his back.
