Jimmy Carter doesnt toot his own horn as he & Rosalyn have helped build homes to give people a hand up. He states that its not a handout. They still pay for their homes, just without interest. He works with the people to get them on their feet to live productive lives. He has always been one that felt that changes start from home, to inspire others to do the same. He doesnt pick & chose as many/most politicians do, his hard work for the good will of others start with himself. Ive heard all of the criticism that people have for him, but from what I have seen with my own eyes, I have a deep admiration for them & all that they do.
