Jimmy Logue This government is more interested in protecting the banks, than in helping their people. Shows clearly where the focus is! To date, not 1 banker, or ex CEO of a bank has been brought to justice to account for the mishandling of the banks, which led to the economic collapse of this country. Those that created the mess, as well as those who were supposed to be supervising the banking industry, have been allowed to walk away with lavish payoffs and pensions. It seems to me, that none of the politicians in Leinster House want to bring these individuals to book, I wonder why? Why are the mandarins in "the permanent government" so against an inquiry into the banking guarantee? It is well past the time, we got answers; after all, we are paying dearly for their reckless gambling, and lit touch regulation!
