Jingle Bells Don Charles Singing Dogs - November, 1955/ 1971 - - TopicsExpress

Jingle Bells Don Charles Singing Dogs - November, 1955/ 1971 - Heres a familiar melody first produced in 1955. Initially the song was part of a medley that also included Three Blind Mice and Pat-A-Cake. But around 1970, the song got the attention of the airwaves again and RCA took advantage of the opportunity to re-issue the 16 year-old classic. In 1971, they took the original cut and deleted the other two tracks, along with the carnival barker. But in doing so, what remained was a really short track. To remedy the situation, they took a portion from the beginning and tagged it on the tail end. Ive taken the liberty of re-creating the 1971 edit of the song, as well as re-instating the carnival atmosphere of the original release, along with other embellishments. Youll see the point where the 1971 edit took place (with the appearance of the orange label release) and where it returns to the 1955 take. This was solely re-created by me using only the 1955 issue alone, using the 1971 issue for reference only. /youtube/watch?v=5mNd1pVSpYQ
