Jingle bells or warning bells? Yep, its that time of year again when scammers not only exploit animals in need, they exploit those intent on helping. They divert well needed funds in to their own grimy pockets, they concoct fake rescues and reward funds, they scam for supposed lottery chances; in short they are the chancers, causing mistrust and denying the neediest of animals a chance. Reports are circulating widely at the moment, please, please be aware. Its also that time of year when the most vulnerable of horses are offered free to a good home, its not impossible to find that good home but it is bloody hard work. Again, there are plenty of known and unknown people ready to exploit that situation, grabbing the wardrobe of the hapless equine and abandoning the actually horse, selling on or even weighing them in for meat. It happens and its happening now.
