Jo here. You, the likers of this page generally have a good knowledge of history and feel respect and perhaps a debt to those who fought for our freedom, you feel sad about the deaths of innocent civilians, people persecuted, etc. In short, Remembrance means something to you, WW2 is in your mind. But unfortunately many other people have no idea about what happened and/or dont care. I do my best to change that, when I work in museums I try to make people think about the war and I like to think that my Ghosts of History pictures have had some impact on people who before seeing them did not know or care much about WW2. This facebook page though reaches people who already care, who have chosen to like the page. I would like to ask you to try and reach someone who does not care. Share a picture, share a story, share your reasons why today, Remembrance Day is important for you. It can be any picture, please dont think I am asking you to share one of our pictures just so we can get more likes. This is about you telling friends on facebook your feelings on this day. Perhaps you have your children or cousins on your friendslist, do they know about what their grandparents went trough, do they know why this day is important to you? Let them know.
