JoAnn and I had a great time this evening with hundreds of conservative patriots at the Red, White & BBQ event hosted by the East Wake Republican Club. Most of the non-partisan judicial candidates were there like Mark Martin who is running for Chief Justice of our NC Supreme Court, Eric Levinson for Supreme Court, Mike Robinson, Paul Holcombe and Judge Bill Southern for NC Court of Appeals, and Charles Gilliam who is running for a District Court seat in Wake County. There was even a conservative Democrat Judge who joined us who is being challenged by a liberal from his own party. I regret I didnt get his name. But the best thing was the very public showing of unity by the attendance of former GOP Senate candidates Mark Harris, Heather Grant and Ted Alexander who joined together behind Thom and Susan Tillis as they all dashed across the state to be with us after opening their new Victory Center earlier today in Cornelius. This is the leadership that will grow our party and our influence to restore the dominance of conservatism in our government... ;-)
