Joan of Arc said: One life is all we have and we live it as we believe in living it. But to sacrifice what you are and to live without belief, that is a fate more terrible than dying. I think Ill read about Joan on my walk to DC at night. You never go wrong with the saints. I want to thank the many people who are endorsing my walk to DC. I did this nearly 5 years ago, it helped build the coalition of Save Our Schools March that brought Diane Ravitch, Matt Damon and nearly 10,000 others to DC the following year. Five years later I have built up an extensive network of like minded friends and groups. This walk is going to be historic, it is going to get attention, and it reminds us we have a weapon of hope that the Ed Deformers lack. They are racing to the top, sacrificing everything to exploit our children, because they are afraid.
