Job 1:12 Sisters and Brothers, our Lord and Savior JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH saith that And the LORD said unto satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand.So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD. SATAN REQUESTS PERMISSION BEFORE ATTACK. Apart from the shortcoming in the lives of believers has empowered Satan to dominate or control them, we see another limitation of Satan in his encounter with Job, and upright man.Job 1:10 says, Hast thou not made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? Thou hast blessed the works of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land. From this story, we learn the following:First:as long as you live right before GOD and never gave the Satan your mandate, he remains incapacitated concerning you and everything about you. For many years, Satan secretly eyed Job . From his reply to GOD, it is obvious he had tried and failed several times and therefore became frustrated.He could not touch anything Job had. Holiness is your best form.of protection. If you are holy, you make it impossible for the wicked one to touch you. Whenever you compromise holiness, you compromise your safety and open the door to Satans attacks. Another lesson we learnt from the first two chapters of Job is that Satan cannot afflict a Holy - living believer except he first obtains permission from GOD. If GOD does not give him permission, he cannot touch you. Why obtain permission if he is so powerful? Closely allied to this is the fact that Satan can only operate within the limits GOD gives him. And you can be sure he cannot exceed it.In Job1:10-12, GOD allowed him to destroy Jobs business empire and children. When Job did not sin as a result, Satan returned to ask for permission to touch his flesh and bones and it was granted. But GOD still told him not to touch his life (Job 2:3-6) Satan cannot go beyond the boundaries GOD has set for your trial of faith.Satan obtains such permission when you want to go through a trial of faith.This is why you dont have to be bothered. Has anyone threatened to harm you? They cannot succeed. The heavenly security you carry is great.Never allow yourself to be devalued.If you dont know your rights, Satan will surely cheat you. Satan is very limited concerning you.DONT GIVE HIM YOUR MANDATE??? ACTION POINT. Satan is wiser than those he deceives.While he lures his fellows to break GODS Word, he would not dare.He plays around the word but does not confront it. May the GOD of Abraham Bless You. Reverend.
