Job Alert Systems & Reports Analyst for Tyson Springdale, AR Specific responsibilities include: communicating with buyers, consulting economists; supporting relationships between buyers, vendors, and facilities; acting as first line of contact and decision making in order to settle disagreements with key suppliers; maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers in order to alleviate cost; managing item number files and classifications; managing distribution of reports and preparation of selected reports including feedback on vendor performance; and tracking orders and selecting inventories of raw materials. Education: Knowledge and techniques normally acquired through four years of college leading to a Bachelors degree or equivalent. Experience: Experience in the food industry or agriculture a plus but not required. Computer Skills: Strong computer skills required; basic knowledge of programs such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word; expertise with Access and Excel a must; knowledge of purchasing programs such as SAP and PPS is a plus. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal, written and negotiation skills.
