Ability to follow oral & written instructions. Receive detailed instructions from supervision or other higher-graded employees on how to do the assignment. · Loading, unloading, moving, and stacking material such as heavy boxes and bulky items by hand, handtrucks, or dollies. May have to operate motor vehicles, forklifts to transport material. · Incumbent may be required to go shipboard, lift or carry weights up to 45lbs unassisted. Ability to carry such weights for up to 25 ft in length. Constant kneeling, crouching, stooping, & walking is required. · This position will require work in buildings and also outdoors. May be exposed to areas where harmful physical & chemicals agents are present.
