Job Announcement Safe Harbor, Inc. invites applicants to apply for our Family Advocate position for the Anderson Shelter. Safe Harbor, Inc., is a non-profit organization providing safe shelter, counseling, advocacy, transitional housing and community outreach and education in Greenville, Pickens, Anderson and Oconee Counties. We have two unmarked confidential emergency shelters-one in Greenville and one in Anderson-with controlled access and 24/7 staffing. The successful candidate should have a passion working with Domestic Violence Victims and their children, have the ability to manage residents in a crisis situations, be able to work with all populations and be non-judgmental. This candidate will also be able to make resource referrals, maintain client files, and gather statistical data for grant purposes. Minimum Qualifications: Associate Degree in Human Services or related field. Must possess excellent oral and communication skills, flexibility and the ability to handle multiple tasks. Must have a valid South Carolina Driver’s License and working vehicle. Bi-lingual- Spanish, is a plus. This position will require you to work one night per week.
