Job Available – Shan Foods Private Limited “Position: Market Insights Manager The job holder will be responsible for the development, implementation and successful delivery of an extensive research program to deliver vital insights into how we further develop and grow our portfolio of categories & brands. This role will also be responsible for using insight programs to support and strengthen our commercial propositions. This role will help us in identifying consumer/retail needs & to develop subsequent strategies to get sustainable competitive advantages. Education: BBA (Marketing) Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of analytic or qualitative/quantitative market research experience in FMCG, F&B or Market Research Company is required. Skills / Competencies: § Excellent verbal and written communication skills § Advanced knowledge of Windows packages (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) § Communication, Presentation and Interpersonal Skills § Analytical / Investigative § Attention to detail § Sales & Distribution Knowledge § Team Work § Planning and Organizing § Multitasking & Agility Job Description: § Developing the research function and role within Shan with the core objective of helping us to use intelligence to drive business growth & market share. § Helping in identifying region wise gaps, developing customized strategies related to each category & area, to improve numeric & weighted availability. § Guide the development of a clear consumer target and prime prospects across Shan portfolio, with cascading choices for communication and product improvements. § Oversees the development of data collection sources; monitor and improve the quality of current data sources. § Developing an extensive understanding of commercial leadership, trade marketing and brand team in order to deliver the most effective research and insight solutions. § Helps to establish a unique, well-defined positon of our brands in the marketplace based on key attributes that meet specific consumer needs and determines the most effective means of differentiating our products from our competitors in each market segment opportunity. § Coordinating and overseeing all primary research activities including focus groups, usability studies, one-to-one interviews and digital surveys to meet brand objectives. Also, sourcing, analyzing and summarizing secondary external or internal data where required. § Uses research findings to provide assistance to brand/trade marketing and sales in the development of strategic marketing plans. § Analyzes results, provides recommended actions, and assesses implications of research findings. Effectively communicates to management and all stakeholders via presentations, reports and proposals. § Conducts the following types of research studies: segmentation, customer satisfaction, communications copy testing and tracking, brand image studies, brand perceptions, brand profiles, switching and loyalty studies, consumer wants and needs, attitudes and behavior studies, name research, mystery shopping.
