Job Description COMPANY The Center for Autism and Related Disorders, Inc. (CARD) is among the world’s largest and most experienced organizations effectively treating children with autism and related disorders. Through a network of trained therapists, supervisors and researchers we develop and implement quality, comprehensive and personalized treatment programs which lead to success, and in many cases recovery. CARD was started in 1990 by renowned psychologist and early researcher of autism, Dr. Doreen Granpeesheh. She designed a unique treatment curriculum based on the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) method and built an organization of dedicated and trained staff. Currently CARD has 23 U.S.-based offices serving in the following states: California, Arizona, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Texas, New York, Virginia, and Illinois. CARD additionally provides ABA support services in countries around the world, including South Africa, Jordan, Zimbabwe, Barbados, Thailand, and Italy. CARD’s goal is to become the worldwide leader of top-quality autism treatments. DESCRIPTION: The Scheduler is responsible for the coordination and scheduling of therapy sessions. The Scheduler must organize the availability of time and location for clients and therapists to make the most convenient and suitable schedule possible. The Scheduler will work closely with client families and CARD’s staff to handle cancellations, schedule changes, and make-up hours. The Scheduler reports to the satellite office’s Operations Manager, as well as the Scheduling Manager. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. RESPONSIBILITIES: •Implement and represent CARD policy enthusiastically •Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders •Manage scheduling process •Take care of multiple clients at the same time •Track and analyze cancellations, substitutions, and make-ups; minimize cancellations and missed •Maintain relationships with clinical staff and CARD clients as it pertains to scheduling •Assist Operations Manager and Clinical staff with other administrative duties as needed, including: filing, report writing, answering phones, processing resumes, etc. •Plan in advance and foresee any problems that may arise. QUALIFICATIONS: •2-5 years of relevant secretarial/administrative experience •Bachelor’s degree preferred •Excellent inter-personal relationship skills and the ability to work with individuals of all levels •Good time management skills •Excellent written and verbal communication skills •Ability to multi-task and handle large phone correspondence •Knowledge of all computer applications, such as: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint •Be available full-time from 8:00am to 5:00pm daily with occasional extended hours during scheduling update periods three times per year (January, June, and September) BENEFITS: •Competitive rate based on experience jobs.centerforautism/scheduler-west-sacramento-ca/job/5112388
