Job Description The Software Engineer will be part of a team that will ensure that the software performs according to specifications is responsible to assist with test design and/or test software modules. With supervision, may be involved throughout the entire development life cycle. Job Description: Analyze specifications and user stories Interview Business Analysts, Product Owners, Developers, QA Analysts Research any pertinent information related to the assigned scope of work Develops and maintains simple test cases Executes manual test scripts/cases. May identify defects Abide to established standards and processes Learn NG policies, procedures, and standards Keep current on NG policies, procedures and standards Can identify defects and questionable functions; manages defects through to closure May prepare schedule for their own projects Required Skills: Knowledgeable in flowting Strong verbal and written communications skills Strong analytical and problem solving skills Strong team player 1-4 years software experience Knowledge of testing methods and standards Knowledge of database management system(s) Knowledge of MS operating systems, and basic scripting and programming Understands software product life-cyle and the role that STE plays in ensuring quality and safety of software Good organization skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks concurrently Desired Skills: Full software lifecycle development experience Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment Creation of consistent theming, language, functionality Healthcare experience Required Education (including certifications): Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent Note: Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
