Job Description of Senior Manager (Procurement & Contracts) Reporting Line: General Manager (P&C) Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Administration, negotiation and management of national and international contracts. 2. Maintain contractual records and documentation such as receipt and control of all contract correspondence, customer contact information sheets, contractual changes, status reports and other documents for all projects. 3. Progress monitoring through Plan Value and Earn Value to ensure that the contractors follow the agreed standards, procedures and planned implementation time table. 4. Preparation of monthly and quarterly progress reports, including comparison between plan and actual progress in physical and financial terms and identification of delays for remedial actions. 5. Understanding and clear interpretation of relevant clause, policies, and procedures contracts and budgets. 6. Coordinate in the procurement process from beginning to award of request for proposals and request for bid packages, preparation of packages for distribution bid selection, assist in establishing evaluation criteria, analyze, bids to determine responsiveness in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures. 7. Work with Finance and Procurement Departments to coordinate contractual insurance requirements. 8. Support Operations Department to ensure company services are offered with appropriate, competitive terms and conditions. 9. Responsible to prepare the procurement plan of the company on yearly basis 10. Ensure that signed contracts are communicated to all relevant parties to provide contract visibility and awareness, interpretation to support implementation. 11. Oversee Service Level Agreement Compliance. 12. Ensure contract close-out extension or renewal. Skills Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and negotiating skills; Detailed knowledge of laws applicable to the Company’s operations Ability to work within a commercially sensitive environment Managerial & Stress management skills Excellent computer skills (i.e MS Office) Qualification: 16 years of education preferably in Contract Management / Business Administration / Engineering and Law from the HEC recognized university. Experience: Minimum 6-8 years post qualification experience in relevant field.
