Job Description – Marketing/Social Media Coordinator The Social Media Coordinator will write and coordinate social media activities for the CT Vineyard and Winery Association (CVWA). This role will work collaboratively with staff to promote our goals and messages while maintaining the image of the CT Wine Trail. JOB DUTIES: • Understand the goal, audience, and message of CT Vineyard and Winery Association • Build upon existing social media programs developing and posting content to social networking sites, incorporating Facebook, Twitter, Pintrest, Instagram, YouTube. • Monitor social media groups, trends, tools, and applications and recommend actions/next steps. • Regularly report insights gained from social media monitoring to the Marketing Committee. • Monitor the association’s social media performance usage reports and tracking search engine results. • Respond to social media inquiries about online activities in a timely and courteous fashion. JOB REQUIREMENTS: • Must be age 21 or older and a resident of Connecticut • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as good organizational skills • Must have technical knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, metrics and tracking • Must have the ability to work flexible hours from home. Required hours will vary from a few hours per week to as much as 8 hours per week, depending on season.
