JOB OPENING: Program Coordinator, Galveston Career Connect (GISD) The Galveston Career Connect (GCC) program coordinator will be responsible for launching, implementing and overseeing all aspects of a $4M federally funded school-based program. The program coordinator will be hired and supervised by GISD with consistent support and communication to Galveston Sustainable Communities Alliance (GSCA).The coordinator will serve in a largely independent role within GISD; allowing the coordinator to facilitate honest dialogue among all of the partners during initial program design meetings, quarterly implementation meetings, and through the GCC advisory board, and supporting impartiality during semi-annual program improvement conversations based on analysis of participant and partner data. The program coordinator will also be responsible for cultivating and executing partnership agreements, managing program staff, and the overall execution of program activities, including those that the management plan calls for partner organizations to implement.
