Job Opportunity - TransCanada Administrative Associate Houston, Texas Direct Hire Job Function This position reports to the department manager and also provides support to the US Supply Chain Operations Services and US Supply Chain Operations Materials managers and is responsible for providing administrative support to the group. Preparation, coordination, reporting and analysis of OM&A budgets. Analyze actual labor, material, and overhead costs against budget. Research variances and report monthly or as needed Invoice processing to accounts payable and ensuring accuracy for payment of invoices Training completions prepared for the department Time sheet entry and document preparation using standard computer software programs Manage all Work Force requests such as employee status changes, new hires and other personnel changes in the SAP human resources system Assisting with the reporting and review of cost savings and cost avoidance and monthly SOX reporting Receive and direct visitors and clients; Minimum Qualifications 3-5 years of previous industry experience is desired; Strong computer skills in SAP, MS Office Suite and financial/budgeting software; Knowledge of principles and practices of basic office management.
