Job Opportunity: Country Manager at Gender Links, Mauritius Gender Links, a dynamic Southern African NGO specializing in gender, media, governance and justice seeks the services of an experienced, highly motivated and committed Country Manager for its Office in Mauritius. The successful candidate will have: • A strong background in gender • Strong knowledge of the media • Strong knowledge of localities of Mauritius • Research, advocacy and training skills • Strong strategic, conceptual, human resources and operational skills • Financial, fund raising and reporting writing skills • Excellent networking and inter-personal skills • Excellent verbal and writing skills in English, French and Creole • IT skills and its applications in training • At least ten years’ experience The post which is for an initial period of two years, is based in Mauritius and will require flexibility to travel to Head Office in Johannesburg.
