Job Opportunity: Cree Language Coordinator Fort Smith, NT 1 Year term - October 15, 2014 - October 15, 2015 the Northwest Territory Metis Nation is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual to administer the Cree Language and Culture Strategic Plan. The Cree Language Coordinator will work under the authority of the NWTMN Executive Director and provide support to the community advisory committees in Hay River and Fort Smith. The successful candidate must be able to work in a team environment, meet strict deadlines, facilitate meetings, good organizational, verbal and written communication skills, and exhibit professionalism, integrity and tact in dealing with the Cree Language Community. Fluency in the Cree Language is not a requirement; however, the ability to communicate in Cree will be considered an asset. A high school diploma is a requirement with experience in program administration. Priority consideration will be given to beneficiaries of the NWTMN process.
