Job Opportunity from ShopRite (end at 07/08/2013): The following position is available in the PA/MD: Retail Investigator LOSS PREVENTION Reports to: Joe Diciccio GRADE 13: $1,002- $1,620 (per week) This position is responsible for the total security of an assigned group of ShopRite and PriceRite stores within the Pennsylvania and Maryland area, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Retail Investigator will maintain close communication with District Managers and store Management teams. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; conducting investigations and interviews, utilizing available asset protection technology, monitoring vendor and receiving activities, night crew surveillances, monitoring the cashiers at front end, courtesy booth, money counting room, store perimeter and other assets. As a Retail Investigator, you will provide security and safety training, assure adherence to written controls, procedures and standards. Additionally, you will be expected to perform duties assigned during emergency situations. A Retail Investigator also assumes a pro-active role in the safety compliance in their stores by providing safety and OSHA-related information to the store management team and safety committee. To be considered a candidate an associate must meet the minimum requirements of the posting. 1.College Degree with a focus on Criminal Justice or related field required. 2.Retail operational experience and familiarity with Wakefern systems strongly preferred. 3.Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and time constraints. 4.Self starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 5.Must be flexible with regard to work schedule including overtime and holidays. 6.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. 7.Meets requirements or better rating on last two Performance Appraisals. (Minimum 2.8). 8.Recommendation of immediate supervisor/manager based on performance in current position.
