Job Opportunity – PCI Services We have received a fantastic job opportunity which may be of interest to graduating students. The vacancy is with Packaging Coordinators, a pharmaceutical company based in Hay-on-Wye. This is a full-time permanent graduate post. They are keen to hear from students with strong mathematical or quantitative skills, as well as an interest in science. They have provided me with the following job specification: • Prepare business proposals for services offered by PCI UK within target or client requested turn-around times. • Liaise with PCI US for input into global service proposals. • In conjunction with Business Development, Marketing and Operations, assist with the harmonisation of UK and US proposal formats. • Work closely with Business Development, Project Management, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Finance to establish the process, resources, costs and pricing for business proposals covering AndersonBrecon UK services. • Work with Operational Development and Operations to create line layouts when appropriate and provide routing information to planning department. • Arrange and chair proposal kick off meetings including cross departmental teams when appropriate. • Create and maintain proposal templates (e.g. QD119) when required. • Manage and maintain Salesforce and any other proposal databases required for the role. • Load and review Business Development forecast into JD Edwards and any other forecasting databases required for the role. • Ensure that the Head of Customer Services and the Business Development Director(s) / Manager(s) are kept fully informed of the progress of all projects up to and including their transition to the relevant Customer Project Manager. • Maintain a library of ‘standard’ costs for components and processes. • Liaise with suppliers to provide materials / comparator / equipment costs when required. • Maintain and report KPI’s.
