Currently looking for a Project Automation Engineer with Propulsion Based Automation knowledge and experience, PLC knowledge/experience, Automation of Ships Power Management Systems and Diesel Electric Propulsion experience. Desired Expertise: Hoglund Marine Automation Experience: 3+ years of Automation Experience Education: Bachelor’s Degree Salary: DOE Location: Mandeville, La Employment Type: Full time salaried employee Description of work: Development of dynamic positioning systems (DP) and the Advanced bridge systems and real-time automated control systems. Development of other new products. Testing of new products on board the boats. Required qualifications: Electrical or electronic Engineer or equivalent in the field of computers, electronics and cybernetics. A lack of education can be compensated with experience. Good knowledge in C++/c # and object-oriented programming. Good knowledge of MS Windows and GUI programming. Familiarity with .net, and WPF is an advantage.
