Table Top Design Coordinator (Part-Time to Full-Time Seasonal) The position of Table Top Design Coordinator oversees the Table Top décor and method of food and beverage design for off-site events. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, often with short deadlines. You will be communicating with Warehouse Manager and Head Steward to ensure a smooth transition of equipment for décor to the staging area to the event. You will be coordinating with the Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, and Garde Manger Chef to determine the style of equipment and method of travel to an event. You will create or work with an event coordinator and outside floral designer to obtain displays, linens, and accent pieces to create a vibrant, visual, and unique event production. This position requires the following knowledge, skills and abilities: • An artistic “eye” and vision to create “awesome” event displays with in-house inventory or additional external design pieces as required. • Keeping current on industry standards by researching new table top design and equipment. • At least three years supervisory experience in a quality food and beverage establishment, with emphasis on equipment purchasing, equipment maintenance and cost control. • Ability to maintain positive relationships with people in a team environment and communicate effectively with both written and oral direction. • Must possess excellent organizational, analytical, and listening skills, with utmost attention to detail. • Must be proficient in multi tasking and time management. • Ability to work a flexible schedule with extended hours, including weekends and holidays, in a position that requires constant standing, walking, lifting, frequent bending, reach, squatting, and kneeling. Salary: Based on Experience Applicant must have or obtain a valid Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card, a valid Arizona Driver’s License, and be able to work throughout the Valley.
