If you are interested in this position please email your resume to jtighe@alene SUMMARY The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources Manager in recruiting, interviewing, staffing and employment. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains ADP database of employee information and runs queries for various reports. Responsible for the set up of personnel files and filing personnel paperwork. Conducts new hire orientation and completes new hire paperwork, process termination paperwork. Ensures timely, accurate processing of employment security forms, employee assistance forms etc. Handles the initial “First Report of Injury” follows up with supervisor if information is not completed. Assists in recruiting responsibilities such as the tracking of resumes, setting up interviews, conducting company tours and sending out candidate rejection letters. Serves as first responder to employee relation issues. Responsible for creating and implementing various project like tasks, including but not limited to; designing employee signs, Human Resources bulletin boards, community boards, and employee guides. Maintain Alene standards of performance and comply with housekeeping, safety policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned by the Human Resources Manager. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None required. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability required. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE High School diploma or general education degree (GED). A minimum of two years of Human Resources experience, including HRIS experience is a must. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Strong basic skills including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. COMPUTER SKILLS Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Office, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. COMPUTER SKILLS Strong basic skills to include at minimum Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
