Job Posting: Ovations Food Services, LP, an affiliate of Comcast-Spectacor, is seeking a Catering Sales Representative for Wild Horse Pass Hotel and Casino who will be responsible for assisting and coordinating outside sales and marketing functions in the Catering Department. The CSR will also manage the administration for full group operations from reservation, through contract to group reception and event catering. Some of the responsibilities include: preparing contracts & BEO’s, creating group & convention blocks in Delphi, tracking information, adjusting inventory, acting as group & convention contact after contract signature, organizing information, reporting, prospecting targeted businesses, networking, selling to the social market, new account development, and managing on-site events to maintain customer satisfaction & encourage repeat business. The ideal candidate MUST have the following qualifications: 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; hotel experience preferred; all employees must obtain a valid gaming license from the State Gaming Agency and Tribal Gaming Office prior to beginning work and are required to have license renewed annually; experience in event scheduling, training, catering, banquets and menu development helpful; candidate must have exceptional Reservations or Groups function background with food and beverage service skills of the highest standards; ability to work a varied schedule, which may include weekends and evenings; ability to travel to outside sales calls and/or events; service, motivation and integrity in decisions is a fundamental requirement; experience with windows based programs and systems; and experience with Delphi.
