Job Posting POSITION: Information, Referral and Service Pathways Specialist, Francophone Part-time position: 21 to 28 hours per week, additional hours based on needs of organization POSITION AVAILABLE: August 12, 2013 POSITION SUMMARY: As part of CDRCP’s Information and Referral Team, this position will provide information, referral and resources to parents and others who require assistance related to services for • early learning and child care • children and youth with developmental disabilities and special needs and • respiteservices/peel In addition to Information and Referral responsibilities, this position is specialized with a focus on support for the Peel Francophone community including; • Providing support to French speaking Families, Educators, Respite Workers and Support Workers • Trainer – development and provision of training and resources • Linking, creating and maintaining bilingual resources online • Outreach and presentations to community • Supporting the maintenance of the online French language Services Directory peel.cioc.ca and related websites The successful candidate will have excellent bi-lingual communication skills and the ability to focus on issues and problem solve while providing service with respect, sensitivity and maintaining confidentiality.
