Job Specification For: Sales Account Manager Location: Whitstable Salary: £16k - £18k OTE: £30k+ Ref: VR/01119A An ambitious Sales Account Manager with business development, telesales, or account management experience, is required to join a thriving, growing IT distributor in Kent. The Sales Account Manager will join a team of 12 developing new business and running a portfolio of existing accounts. Full IT product and sales training will be provided. The successful applicant can look forward to a career where the company’s top earners make over £50,000 after three years’ service. Responsibilities: - Generate new business leads by calling potential clients - Use a consultative sales approach to understand client needs and deliver appropriate solutions - Develop accounts and upsell new product offerings - Attend client meetings Skills & Experience: - Some sales / account management experience (B2B preferably) - Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) - Strong IT skills (working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) - Some experience of using a CRM (or working in an environment where a CRM is used) - Driving licence and access to own transportation This is an exciting opportunity for a Sales orientated Account Manager to develop their career at a leading IT distributor. Prior experience of working in IT hardware sales is not essential.
